It's about 10 minutes to Sunday River, the house is in great shape, the basement fun room is cool with a huge TV, karaoke, etc. I was here with my family and we're already planning a return trip for some summer hiking and will definitely hope to stay at Brian's place again.”

“We absolutely loved this home. Every room went above and beyond as far as decor but was also warm and inviting. We are somewhat OCD about everything being neat, clean and organized. Nothing here disappoints in that area. The kitchen has everything you need and more, however it is not cluttered. In fact everything is labeled and laid out with purpose. The property is quiet and serene but not far from activities. There are a variety of dining options close by. The deck is an extension of living space bringing the comfort of inside into the beautiful outdoors. The bathrooms are finished beautifully and perfectly clean, really! There are plenty of towels, freshly laundered. The bed was very comfy. I am now searching for the pillows for our home! We would like to finish this review with a very special thank you to Brian and Jane. The personal attention we received has been unmatched. It is very clear that they are proud of and care about this home as their own, because it is!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Berkshire over Memorial Day weekend with our children and two dogs. The house was as lovely as it's pictured. It was well equipped for our needs and we especially loved the screened in porch and the hot tub. We found it easily accessible to many things to do in the area that we wanted to see. And the Pale Fire Brewery nearby was fabulous and had a great live band the day we stopped by. The owners were very responsive and we highly recommend this rental and would happily return in the future!”
